We started Bearcat Turf in 2023 after a $500 summer water bill for a yard that still looked beat up in July. HUB Certified, fully insured, family-owned, based in Aledo.
Our story.
Summer 2023. We were paying over $500 a month to keep a modest yard alive through a Texas drought. The water wasn't getting cheaper. Our weekends were disappearing into mowing, fertilizing, and fighting mud. We went looking for a way out.
We found artificial turf and went deep on it — the products, the install methods, the drainage science, the warranties, the parts nobody wants to talk about. We put it in our own yard first. Our two big Doodles put it through its paces. It held up. The water bill dropped. The mowing stopped. The yard still looked perfect in July.
Turns out our neighbors in Aledo, Fort Worth, and Southlake were fighting the same yard. So we started Bearcat Turf to do the same work for them — and treat every install like it was going in our own yard, because that's how we figured this out in the first place.
