What we install

Sports surfaces, by category.

Most "turf companies" do residential lawns and call sports fields a side hustle. We work the other direction — sport-grade installs are core to what we build, and the catalog reflects it.

What we hold the spec on

Built like a sports field, not a backyard.

Sport-grade installs share a different baseline than residential turf. Higher face weights, denser stitch gauges, engineered sub-bases, drainage that holds up to a real practice schedule, and warranties that assume public foot traffic. Here's what we hold:

Spec discipline

  • ASTM-aligned face weights, drainage rates, and G-Max safety testing on tournament-grade installs
  • Regulation geometry for baseball, softball, football, and soccer dimensions
  • Full TurfHub catalog — All Play USA, Performance Pro, Coastal Blend Pro, Tour Elite, Tour Platinum, plus Superior Turf Supply specialty surfaces
  • 15-year manufacturer warranty on every install — we don't carry turf without one

Build discipline

  • Drainage-first sub-base engineering — compacted aggregate in lifts, French drains, laser-graded slope
  • GC-coordinated schedules — we sequence with masonry, MEP, mural artists, restaurant build-outs, lighting trades, whatever's adjacent
  • HUB Certified for public-sector and qualifying private procurement
  • Public-bid documentation on request — Section 32 92 00 spec language, drawings, and submittals
  • Summer install windows for ISD work — book by March, install during school break

Where we work.

Standard service area is the entire DFW metroplex — Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Frisco, Plano, Allen, Denton, Rockwall, Heath, and the Parker County / Tarrant County / Johnson County footprint that surrounds it. We've installed sport-grade turf and field surfaces across 30+ DFW ZIP codes and have done one-off work as far as East Texas, the Hill Country, and Central Illinois when the project's worth the drive.

No out-of-area surcharge for any project inside the metroplex.

Sports Turf FAQ

Common questions from buyers and procurement.

Do you handle ASTM testing and G-Max compliance for a bid spec?

Yes — ASTM-aligned face weights, drainage rates, and G-Max safety testing on tournament-grade installs, plus public-bid documentation on request (Section 32 92 00 spec language, drawings, and submittals).

Are you HUB Certified for public-sector bids?

Yes. HUB Certified for public-sector and qualifying private procurement, with public-bid documentation available on request.

What does drainage and sub-base engineering actually involve?

Drainage-first sub-base engineering — compacted aggregate in lifts, French drains, laser-graded slope — not turf laid straight over existing grade.

Can you work around a school calendar?

Yes — summer install windows for ISD work. Book by March to install during the school break.

Do you coordinate with a general contractor, architect, or developer on a larger project?

Yes. We run GC-coordinated schedules and sequence with masonry, MEP, and other adjacent trades, and regularly work through GCs, architects, landscape architects, and mixed-use developers rather than only direct-to-owner.

What is the service area, and is there an out-of-area surcharge?

Standard service area is the whole DFW metroplex, with no out-of-area surcharge inside it. We've also taken one-off jobs as far as East Texas, the Hill Country, and Central Illinois when the project was worth the drive.

Have a sport-grade project on the board?
