Our warranty

The 15-year figure reflects the manufacturer's warranty on the turf products we currently install. Manufacturer warranty periods are product-specific and are also listed on each product's spec page.

What's covered.

• Seam integrity — seams stay intact and secure for the 1-year installation warranty period.
• Installation errors — any issue that traces back to how we installed the turf, not the turf itself.
• Material defects — defects in the turf material that affect its performance or appearance, covered by the manufacturer.
• UV stabilization — protection against significant fading from UV exposure, covered by the manufacturer.

What's not covered.

• Damage from improper use — accidents, vandalism, misuse of the turf, or wear from playground equipment (swing sets, slides) and sports gear beyond what the product is rated for.
• Acts of nature — floods, hail, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other extreme weather.
• Improper maintenance — damage from skipping recommended maintenance, or using cleaning agents, herbicides, or pesticides not suited for artificial turf.
• Normal wear and tear — fading, matting, or degradation that comes with normal use and age.
• Irrigation changes or repairs — if irrigation work happens after install and requires reconstruction, repair, or re-installation of the turf, that work isn't covered.
• Reflected-light (glare) damage — sunlight reflected off windows, mirrors, or other reflective surfaces can concentrate enough heat to melt or scorch turf fibers. This is a known risk with energy-efficient (low-E) glass, and it isn't something any turf warranty covers, ours included.
• Work or repairs by anyone else — this warranty is void for turf that's been modified, altered, defaced, or repaired by someone other than Bearcat Turf & Outdoors, including other contractors working on the property after our install is complete.

Your responsibilities.

• Follow our maintenance guidelines. Both warranties assume the turf is maintained the way we (and the manufacturer) recommend.
• Report issues promptly. Let us know as soon as you notice a defect, within the applicable warranty period.
• Prevent further damage. Once you notice an issue, take reasonable steps to keep it from getting worse while we look into it.

Filing a claim.

1. Contact us through our contact form or by calling or texting 817-803-1445, with a description of the issue and, if possible, photos.
2. We'll schedule a site visit to inspect the turf and confirm whether the issue is covered.
3. If it's an installation issue, we repair or replace the affected area at no cost to you.
4. If it's a materials issue, we coordinate directly with the manufacturer (TurfHub or Superior Turf Supply) to resolve the claim.

The fine print.

• Both warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser.
• Warranty coverage begins once final payment has been received in full.
• We get the first opportunity to repair, replace, or correct any covered defect, within a reasonable time and at no cost to you, before any other remedy is pursued.
• The materials warranty is an agreement between you and the manufacturer (TurfHub and/or Superior Turf Supply). Bearcat Turf & Outdoors facilitates the claim but doesn't control the manufacturer's coverage decisions.
• Neither warranty covers incidental or consequential damages, including loss of use or loss of enjoyment.
• These warranties are provided in place of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
• Site-specific terms in your signed contract or written estimate control if they conflict with this page.
