Pricing FAQ.

Why does Bearcat publish prices when most installers won’t? +

We do enough volume in the DFW market that our cost structure is stable. A site walk still produces a fixed quote that reflects your specific lot, but you should be able to budget your backyard before you ever invite a salesperson over. Most installers hide prices because they want to be the cheapest after the walk, we would rather you know upfront whether we are in your range.

Are these prices for the full DFW area or specific cities? +

These are DFW-wide install ranges that hold across Tarrant, Parker, Dallas, Collin, Denton, Wise, Hood, Rockwall, Ellis, and Johnson counties. Prices outside that footprint (e.g., the rural Hill Country or East Texas) need a separate conversation because we mobilize differently for jobs more than 90 minutes from Aledo.

What is NOT included in these ranges? +

Each row includes Bearcat's standard scope: material, labor, prep, basic cleanup. Excluded across all categories: city permits, third-party inspections, fencing where code-required separately, rock excavation beyond standard, electrical service upgrades, HOA application fees, and any major site work like grading, fill dirt, or tree removal beyond a few specimens.

How do you put together a full backyard quote? +

On the site walk we measure the footprint of each surface and feature, confirm material selections, identify any site-specific factors (slope, access, drainage), and produce a single line-item proposal covering everything in your scope. The proposal references the per-unit prices below so you can verify the math.

What if I only want one piece, just turf, or just a pool? +

That works too. Most of our backyards are 1-3 line items, not 12. The complete-backyard framing is for homeowners pricing out a major outdoor renovation. If you just want a backyard turf install or just a Plungie pool, head to the dedicated service pages: turf installation cost or Plungie pools.

Are these 2026 prices? +

Yes. Updated for the 2026 install season (May 2026). Material costs especially limestone pavers, cedar lumber, and crumb rubber have shifted enough since 2024 that older quotes do not reliably apply. We refresh this page every 6 months.
