Financing
Financing your artificial turf install.
Low monthly payments, straightforward terms, minutes to apply. For qualified homeowners across DFW we offer financing through vetted home-improvement lending partners — so the install doesn't have to wait for the full quote in cash.
How financing works.
- 1
We quote the install.
Free on-site walkthrough, honest scope, firm number. You know exactly what the project costs before any financing conversation starts.
- 2
You apply with one of our lending partners.
Online application, soft credit check to get prequalified, decision usually in minutes. We work with Lyon Financial and Intuit Financial — both are outdoor-living and home-improvement specialists, so they understand turf, pavers, and pool-adjacent projects the way a generic lender doesn't. Term options typically run 24 to 84 months depending on amount and credit profile.
- 3
We schedule the install.
Once financing is in place, we lock a date, order material, and get to work. You make monthly payments directly to the lender — Bearcat Turf gets paid by the lender, not you.
Our lending partners.
We don't handle the financing ourselves. We refer to two established outdoor-living lenders who specialize in projects like ours — which means faster approvals, term structures that match how real backyard projects get scoped, and underwriters who know what a turf or paver install looks like.
Lyon Financial
Outdoor-living lending specialist. Long-standing partner program for pool, patio, and landscape contractors. Competitive fixed-rate terms up to 20+ years on larger projects, with no prepayment penalties.
Intuit Financial
Home-improvement lender offering streamlined online applications and fast decisions. Good option for mid-size installs where speed to approval matters, with promotional APR windows available on qualifying projects.
We'll walk through both options during your quote so you can compare terms and pick the structure that fits your budget and timeline.
What the math looks like.
A typical Bearcat install ranges from around $8,000 for a modest backyard to $30,000-plus for a full pet-turf and putting-green combination on a larger lot. On a 60-month term at representative home-improvement rates, monthly payments break out roughly like this:
| Install total | 60-month payment (approx) | Water-bill offset |
|---|---|---|
| $8,000 | $165-$195/mo | $40-$80/mo saved on summer irrigation |
| $15,000 | $310-$360/mo | $80-$140/mo saved on summer irrigation |
| $25,000 | $515-$600/mo | $140-$220/mo saved on summer irrigation |
Representative terms only — your actual rate and monthly payment depend on credit profile, term length, and lender. Water-bill offsets are typical DFW summer ranges and vary by lot size and current irrigation habits.
Common questions.
Does applying hurt my credit?
Prequalification is a soft pull — no impact on your score. A hard pull only happens if you move forward and sign.
Can I pay off the loan early?
Yes. Our lending partners do not charge prepayment penalties on standard home-improvement loans. Pay down the principal any time.
What credit score do I need?
Approval is not just score-based — income and debt-to-income matter too. Most approved applicants are above 650, but we have seen solid terms at lower scores when income is strong.
Is there a deferred-interest or promo option?
Depending on the partner and amount, yes — promo APR windows (like 12 or 18 months same-as-cash) do come up. We walk through the options on your install quote so you can pick the structure that fits.
