Yes. Our turf products are lead-free, non-toxic, and tested to ASTM safety standards. Pet-rated turf has antimicrobial backing and uses drainage-optimized infill that prevents odor buildup. Playground-rated turf is shock-pad-engineered to ASTM F1292 fall-rating specifications. We install both regularly across DFW.
How long does the install take? +
A typical 1,500 to 3,000 sqft backyard install runs 3 to 5 working days. Larger installs (5,000+ sqft) can run 1-2 weeks. The first day is excavation and base prep; the bulk of finishing happens on day 3-5.
Does it survive Texas summer? +
Yes. Our turf is UV-stable and rated for the full Texas climate. Surface temperatures run hotter than grass in direct sun, which is why we use cool-blend infill in DFW residential installs. The infill drops surface temperature 15-25°F vs. silica-only on a 100°F day.
What is the warranty? +
Every turf product we install comes with a 15-year manufacturer warranty, plus a 1-year Bearcat install warranty on seams, base, and drainage. Honest, written, transferable to the next homeowner.
