Why Bearcat × Cimarron.
Cimarron makes the equipment. We install it. That split matters — you're not buying a cage from a re-seller who's never put one in the ground, and you're not buying nets from a turf crew who picked them off a Google Shopping ad.
- Authorized dealer pricing on the full Cimarron catalog — nets, frames, bundles, backstops, screens, training aids.
- Bearcat install crew on the ground in DFW. Same family-owned operation that does Bearcat sports field, pet, and putting-green installs.
- HUB Certified for ISD and public-sector procurement. Bid-ready documentation on request.
- Surface integration. If you want hitting turf, mound, or plate as part of the build, that's the same crew, same scope, one warranty.
- Real install windows. ISD summer slots fill by March. Get on the list early.
Batting cage installs across Dallas, Fort Worth, and the wider DFW metroplex.
Bearcat is based in Aledo, 15 minutes west of Fort Worth, but we install batting cages across both halves of the DFW metroplex. Backyard, school district, and warehouse / indoor-facility builds all run through the same crew and the same Cimarron equipment line.

Travel time + crew logistics
For Dallas-side cage builds: our crew stages out of Aledo and works the install in 2–4 day blocks depending on cage size and frame type. Site visits are free anywhere inside the 10-county DFW footprint. We don't tack a travel premium onto Dallas-side jobs — the install math runs the same whether you're in Bella Flora or Bishop Arts.
Dallas-area schools and ISDs
For schools and ISDs on the Dallas side — Frisco ISD, Plano ISD, Highland Park ISD, Lovejoy ISD, McKinney ISD, Coppell ISD, Carroll ISD, Allen ISD — Bearcat is HUB Certified, bid-ready, and accustomed to slotting into school-summer install windows. Get on the list by March if you want a finished cage before fall ball.
Batting Cage FAQ
Common questions before you build.
Does Bearcat Turf & Outdoors install batting cage artificial turf in Fort Worth and DFW?
Yes. Bearcat Turf & Outdoors is an Aledo-based, HUB Certified installer that builds full batting cage systems with artificial turf and synthetic grass surfaces across Fort Worth, Dallas, Aledo, and the wider DFW metroplex. We are a Cimarron Sports dealer and ship complete cages — frame, netting, surface, and accessories — turnkey.
What does a batting cage installation cost in DFW?
A 35×12×12 backyard cage with Cimarron-spec frame and netting plus turf surface starts around $8,000. A 55×14×12 family-grade cage with full surround turf and pitching machine integration runs $12,000–$18,000. School and indoor-facility installs (multi-cage layouts, suspended frames, partition nets) start around $25,000 and scale with scope. Use the configurator for a real number on your specific build.
How long does it take to install a backyard batting cage?
A typical backyard install takes 2–4 days on site. Site prep, frame anchoring, netting, and turf surface go in over consecutive days; complex multi-cage or suspended-frame installs at schools and training facilities take 1–2 weeks. We coordinate around the family's schedule and the school's summer-break window.
What turf do you use inside a batting cage?
For batting cage surfaces we install infield-spec synthetic turf — denser face weight, lower pile, and reinforced backing engineered for repeated cleated traffic, dragged feet, and ball impact at the plate. The same spec we use on field-level infield turf installs, scaled to the cage footprint.
Is Bearcat Turf & Outdoors a Cimarron Sports dealer?
Yes. We carry the full Cimarron Sports product line — frames, netting, pitching machines, plate mats, and accessories. Cimarron is the industry-standard manufacturer for backyard, school, and indoor batting cage equipment. Combined with our turf scope, you get a single-vendor build.
Can you build a batting cage in my backyard with HOA restrictions?
Often, yes. We are HOA-aware and can spec frame geometry, netting color, and surround landscaping to keep the cage neighborhood-friendly. Bring us the HOA covenants at the walk-through and we will tell you what is buildable. Many Aledo, Fort Worth, and Parker County backyards have successful cage installs even in deed-restricted neighborhoods.
Do you install batting cages at schools and indoor training facilities?
Yes. We are HUB Certified for ISD bid programs and have installed at schools, charter programs, indoor training facilities, and travel-ball academies across DFW. Public bid documentation, summer install windows, after-hours coordination, and multi-cage layouts are all in scope. See /batting-cages/schools/ for details.
What is the warranty on a Bearcat batting cage installation?
Cimarron equipment carries the manufacturer warranty (typically 3–10 years on frames, 1–5 years on netting). The artificial turf surface carries a 15-year manufacturer product warranty. Bearcat covers a 1-year installation workmanship warranty on the full build.
