Bearcat Turf

For School Districts, Parks, Municipalities & Public Bids

HUB Certified. Texas-based. Ready to bid.

Bearcat Turf is a State of Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB), eligible for public-sector projects, school-district bids, and municipal RFPs across the DFW metroplex.

What HUB Certification means.

The Texas Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) program is a certification administered by the Texas Comptroller's Office. It verifies that a business meets the state's criteria for underrepresented ownership, and it is required or strongly preferred for many public-sector contracts, school-district procurement, and municipal bids in Texas.

For program buyers — athletic directors, parks directors, superintendents, city managers — it means Bearcat Turf is eligible to bid on your project through normal procurement channels, and that our certification can count toward agency HUB participation goals.

Before you write an RFP or ITB.

We are happy to help your procurement team scope a project, provide pre-bid cost ranges, and offer specification language that avoids the most common pitfalls we see in rushed RFPs (single-sourced turf brands, unclear drainage specs, missing mound/plate specs).

For school districts and parks programs evaluating a field conversion, our ROI Calculator lets your board or committee run the 10-year financial case directly — field types, portfolio size, install tier, maintenance savings, rental and tournament revenue, and lifespan all modeled with honest assumptions.
