Santa Rita Ranch has grown into one of the fastest-growing master-planned communities in the entire country, and it shows in the amenities: several community parks, two on-site elementary schools, an on-site middle school, and a resort-style amenity center with multiple pools and water features, trails, and a welcome center. Liberty Hill ISD just approved a brand-new Saddleback Elementary on a 13.5-acre site, with room for up to 1,000 students, specifically to serve Santa Rita Ranch and relieve overcrowding when it opens around the 2026-27 school year. One detail that surprises a lot of families moving in: the community straddles the Liberty Hill and Georgetown line closely enough that it's zoned to both Liberty Hill ISD and Georgetown ISD, so which district your kids attend can come down to which section of the neighborhood you're in.
