Turf Products
Bearcat's turf lineup. The actual product matters.
Turf isn't a commodity. Pile height, face weight, blade shape, backing, drainage rate — every one of those decisions changes how the install looks and performs over a 15-year warranty window. Eleven products across five categories. Specs straight off the manufacturer cut-sheets.

How we pick turf.
Most installers carry one or two products and try to make every yard fit them. We carry eleven because a putting green and a dog run are not the same problem — and pretending they are is how you end up with a backyard that fails inside three years.
- 1
Site walk.
Free on-site visit. We look at sun exposure, slope, drainage path, existing soil, irrigation lines, and what the carpet has to live next to — pool, patio, mulch beds, dog door.
- 2
Use case.
Who actually uses this space? Dogs change the spec. Kids change the spec. A backyard putting green changes the spec. We pick the product line that matches how the yard will get used — not the cheapest carpet on the truck.
- 3
Drainage demand.
DFW gets 35+ inches of rain a year, mostly in spring downpours. We size the base depth, the drainage rate of the carpet, and (for pet installs) whether the backing needs to be fully perforated to handle the actual water load on your lot.
- 4
Match the product.
By the end of the walk you have a product recommendation, a base spec, and a firm price. No upsell pressure, no second visit needed to get a number.
Talk to us about your project.
Free on-site walk, honest product recommendation, firm quote. Install pricing depends on square footage and site conditions — we'll put a real number on it after we see the yard.
