We build baseball fields, sports fields, and indoor facilities in Georgia.
Multi-field baseball programs and indoor facilities. Georgia is a fly-in market, so the project has to be program-scale.

Minimum project size
A multi-field complex (four fields or more) or an indoor baseball or multi-sport facility. Nothing smaller travels this far.
We say this up front because it saves everyone a call. If your project is smaller, tell us anyway and we will point you to the spec so a local crew can build it.
The Georgia market
Why Georgia is on our map.
- Metro Atlanta is the densest travel-baseball market in the Southeast: East Cobb, LakePoint in Emerson, and a tournament calendar that fills every field in the region.
- Program-scale complexes are where we compete. A twelve-field build is a different procurement than a single field, and most regional builders are not set up for it.
- Georgia red clay is close to the same engineering problem as the Texas clay we build on at home: stabilize the top lift, then drain it.
Soil, climate, and spec
What changes about the build in Georgia.
Georgia red clay is Piedmont clay, weathered from granite, and it behaves a lot like the Blackland Prairie we build on at home: it holds water, it compacts hard when dry, and it needs stabilization or replacement in the top lift before it will carry a field. Fifty inches of rain a year and a long, humid summer mean the drainage section has to be sized for sustained storms, not one-off events.
Humidity is the indoor spec change. An indoor baseball facility in Georgia needs HVAC and dehumidification sized for the turf and netting load, and the mechanical scope has to be coordinated with the floor plan, not bolted on after. We handle that as part of the facility scope.
South and coastal Georgia add named-storm exposure. Backstop and facility netting are designed for the site, with a takedown plan where one is needed.
For the base-prep and drainage principles behind every field we build, see our sports field guides and spec library.
Governing bodies
Who sets the rules for Georgia fields.
GHSA
Georgia High School Association
Public and member private school athletics under NFHS field rules. Baseball is a major spring sport and the state's travel-ball calendar runs nearly year-round.
How Georgia buyers procure
How public buyers in Georgia usually procure.
Georgia public buyers can use cooperative contracts, but state purchasing rules limit them to cooperatives run by nonprofits or governmental entities and require that the underlying contract was competitively bid. Local school systems and cities otherwise run their own sealed-bid or RFP processes under Georgia procurement law.
- Direct sealed bid or RFP through the school system, city, or county. We respond to the owner's own spec through our Spec Desk.
- Sourcewell and other governmental or nonprofit cooperatives, where the buyer has joined and the contract is on the approved list.
- Statewide contracts through the Department of Administrative Services, where one covers the scope.
Where Bearcat fits
We are HUB Certified and we respond to sealed bids, RFPs, and written quote requests. A cooperative contract only works through a vendor awarded on it, so if your district requires one, ask us first. We will tell you plainly whether we hold an award.
Purchasing rules change. Confirm the current route with your district or city purchasing office before you draft a solicitation, and send us the spec once you have it.
Logistics
How a Georgia project actually works.
Georgia is a fly-in market. Atlanta is twelve hours from Aledo by road, so we do not drive a crew out for a week. A Georgia project is planned as a multi-week mobilization with the crew housed on site, equipment either trucked or rented locally, and the schedule built around the owner's season.
Metro Atlanta has deep local aggregate, concrete, and trade-partner supply, which is what makes a program-scale build workable this far from home. Turf ships from the mill. A multi-field program is the scale where the mobilization math works.

Georgia FAQ
Common questions from Georgia buyers.
What do you build in Georgia?
Multi-field baseball complexes of four fields or more, and indoor baseball or multi-sport facilities. Nothing smaller travels twelve hours.
How does a Georgia project work logistically?
As a multi-week mobilization with the crew housed on site, equipment trucked or rented locally, and the schedule built around your season. We scope the mobilization as one fixed-price line.
Can a Georgia school system buy through a cooperative?
Only through a nonprofit or governmental cooperative whose contract was competitively bid, under Georgia purchasing rules. Sourcewell qualifies for many buyers. A cooperative contract only helps if the vendor holds an award on it, so ask us before you plan around one.
Have a Georgia project on the board?
Tell us the sport, the site, and the timeline. We start with a virtual consult over video so nobody drives 12 hours before the budget makes sense. Response within one business day.
Other states we build in
Where we build
Texas projects
Everything we build, anywhere in the state. DFW is home base; the rest of Texas is a drive, not a flight.
Where we build
Oklahoma projects
Fields, cages, and indoor facilities. Oklahoma City is closer to Aledo than Houston is, so cage programs travel here too.
Where we build
Louisiana projects
Fields and indoor facilities. Shreveport, Bossier, and Monroe are a morning's drive; south Louisiana is a multi-week facility job.
