Family Yard line — $8-10/sqft installed

What it is.

Family Yard Pro is the everyday residential blade we put in most DFW backyards. 1.75-inch pile is the sweet spot — tall enough to look like a real lawn, short enough to spring back when the kids and the dog run on it for ten years straight.

Dual-tone fiber means two shades of green plus a tan thatch layer woven in at the base. Up close it reads as a healthy fescue. From the patio it reads as — a lawn. Not the lime-green AstroTurf look people remember from the 90s.

Polyurethane backing with hole-punch drainage handles DFW summer storms without pooling. Coated silica infill keeps the blades upright and stops UV from cooking the bottom of the carpet.

Price & install timing.

$8-10/sqft installed. Final number depends on prep depth, drainage work, and square footage. Install range is typically 4-6 weeks from contract signing — sometimes faster in the off-season, sometimes longer in spring when everyone wants their backyard ready before Memorial Day.

Where it works.

We install Family Yard Pro across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Most jobs come from Aledo, Fort Worth, Southlake, and the Parker / Tarrant / Denton county corridor — see the full service-area list.
