What it is.

Pet Pro Antimicrobial is the spec we put in for any yard where dogs are the primary user. Shorter pile so urine doesn't pool in the blades, fully-perforated backing so it drains straight through to the gravel base instead of sitting on top.

Zeolite infill is the difference between a pet yard that smells like a pet yard and one that doesn't. Zeolite is a volcanic mineral that traps ammonia at the molecular level — it absorbs the odor instead of just covering it up. We refresh it every 2-3 years for heavy-use installs.

The fiber itself is treated with an antimicrobial agent at the mill, so bacteria and yeast cannot establish a colony at the blade base. This matters for boarding facilities, doggy daycares, and any household with multiple dogs.

  • Shorter 1.25" pile so waste rinses cleanly

Best for.

  • Dog runs
  • Backyards with pets
  • Boarding kennels
  • Doggy daycares

Maintenance.

Rinse high-traffic areas weekly. Pick up solid waste daily as you would on grass. Refresh zeolite infill every 2-3 years (more often for kennel installs). Enzyme cleaner spot-treatment for accident areas.

Price & install timing.

$9-12/sqft installed. Final number depends on prep depth, drainage work, and square footage. Install range is typically 4-6 weeks from contract signing — sometimes faster in the off-season, sometimes longer in spring when everyone wants their backyard ready before Memorial Day.

Where it works.

We install Pet Pro Antimicrobial across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Most jobs come from Aledo, Fort Worth, Southlake, and the Parker / Tarrant / Denton county corridor — see the full service-area list.
