An outdoor golf practice net and hitting turf mat, built the same way we build a batting cage bullpen — because it's the same equipment dealer and the same crew. We're an authorized Cimarron Sports dealer, and Cimarron builds golf practice nets and hitting-bay enclosures alongside the batting cage frames we install every week.

What's included

  • Cimarron net or enclosure. A freestanding practice net for chip-and-pitch work, or a fully enclosed hitting bay with an impact screen for full-swing driver work.
  • Tight-pile hitting turf. The same dense, low-profile turf we use for golf simulator rooms — realistic footing through the swing, no matting down under repeated impact in the same spot.
  • Drainage base (outdoor builds). Crushed-stone sub-base graded so the mat plays the same in a wet Texas spring as a dry August.

Common Bearcat golf builds

  • Net + turf mat only. Open-air practice net and a hitting turf mat, no enclosure. The simplest and cheapest way to get real swings in without leaving the yard. $3,500-$6,500.
  • Fully enclosed hitting bay. Impact screen and side netting on a pole frame, similar construction to a small batting cage. Full-swing driver work without stray balls in the neighbor's yard. $8,000-$16,000.
  • Indoor simulator room. A different product entirely — glue-down turf over an existing garage or bonus-room slab, built for a launch monitor and projector setup. See our golf simulator turf page for that build.

Pairs well with

A lot of our golf clients build a hitting bay and a putting green in the same project — full-swing practice and the short game, in one backyard. If you're already getting a batting cage quoted, ask about adding a golf net to the same proposal; sharing the crew and the site visit usually saves on both.
