For academies, training centers & sports complexes
Baseball facility construction, end to end.
Cages, netting, indoor hitting turf, outdoor field turf, and full field builds. One DFW crew for the whole facility, from a shell or a slab to opening day. Cimarron authorized dealer, HUB Certified, fully insured.
Built for facility operators.
If your business runs on court time, cage time, or field time, the surface and the net are not a finish detail. They are the product. We build them to take the use.
- Indoor training academies & hitting facilities
- Travel-ball and club organizations
- Batting cage & entertainment businesses
- Schools, ISDs, and college programs
- Parks departments & municipal complexes
- Multi-sport and tournament facilities
The full menu, one crew.
Four service lines that cover everything inside the building and out on the lot. Mix and match for your facility. Ranges below are indicative; every project is quoted on a site and needs visit.
Netting & cage systems
From $4,000 (single) · $8,000–$40,000+ (multi-cage commercial)
Commercial-grade cage frames, batting tunnels, partition nets, and retractable curtain systems. Stand-alone or suspended, spec’d for daily-use facilities, not weekend backyards.
- #45 / #60 / #84 twisted-poly nets by use intensity
- Cimarron galvanized or powder-coated steel frames
- Track-mounted partition + curtain nets for multi-station flow
Indoor turf
Roughly $6–$12 / sq ft installed
Hitting-zone turf, full-floor turf-over-pad, and mound and plate inlays for indoor academies and warehouse conversions. Spike-friendly commercial pile, replaceable in panels.
- Turf-over-pad on existing or new slab
- Panel-replaceable wear zones at the plate
- Shock-pad options for multi-sport flooring
Outdoor turf
Roughly $8–$14 / sq ft all-in
Practice fields, infield conversions, bullpens, throwing and agility surfaces. Drainage-first base on every build so the surface plays after a North Texas storm instead of sitting under water.
- 95% Proctor sub-base, laser grade, French-drain tie-in
- Bermuda-look infield and outfield products
- Bullpen, mound, and agility-lane inlays
Field builds
$40K (rec) up to $470K–$1.84M (full turf, DFW)
Full baseball and softball fields, infield-to-full-turf conversions, and multi-field complexes. From a rec diamond to a tournament-grade, fully turfed, lit complex.
- Rec, travel-ball, and tournament-grade tiers
- Infield-only or full infield + outfield turf
- Lights, dugouts, scoreboard, and drainage coordinated
Why facilities pick Bearcat.
Commercial-ready
W-9, certificate of insurance naming your GC or owner as additional insured, and AIA G702-compatible payment applications. Fully insured on every job.
Cimarron dealer
Authorized Cimarron Sports dealer for commercial cage frames, nets, and accessories, installed by our own crew rather than drop-shipped and left to you.
Warrantied
15-year manufacturer warranty on turf products and a 5-year Bearcat workmanship warranty, both written into the contract before work starts.
Drainage-first
Every outdoor build gets an engineered base: excavated organic layer, compacted crushed-stone sub-base, laser grade, and French-drain tie-in. The part nobody sees decides whether the field lasts.
HUB Certified
Woman-owned, HUB Certified by the State of Texas and BBB Accredited. The certification is on file and included with every commercial quote for diverse-vendor and public-sector tracking.
One point of contact
Cages, netting, indoor turf, outdoor turf, and field work under one contract and one crew. No coordinating four vendors against one buildout schedule.

Facility build questions
Do you build complete indoor baseball training facilities? +
Yes. We build out full facilities from a shell or an existing building: commercial cage systems and netting, indoor hitting turf, mounds and plate inlays, partition and curtain nets, and pitching-machine integration. The cages, the turf, and the install crew are all in-house, so one team coordinates the whole buildout.
How much does it cost to build a baseball training facility? +
It depends on size and scope. As indicative ranges: commercial cage systems run from $4,000 for a single tunnel up to $8,000 to $40,000+ for multi-cage facility builds; indoor hitting turf runs roughly $6 to $12 per square foot installed; outdoor practice and field turf runs roughly $8 to $14 per square foot all-in; and full field builds range from about $40,000 for a rec field up to $470,000 to $1.84M for a full artificial-turf field in DFW. Every facility is quoted on a site and needs visit.
Do you install indoor hitting turf over existing concrete? +
Yes. Most indoor and warehouse installs are turf-over-pad on the existing slab. We assess slab condition first, since older industrial floors sometimes need grinding or patching before anchors and turf hold long-term. Where the floor is solid, we lay pad and turf directly over it.
Do you work as a subcontractor with our general contractor? +
Yes. We regularly work as a subcontractor to GCs and alongside architects on commercial facility builds. We provide a W-9, a certificate of insurance naming the GC or owner as additional insured, and can match a payment-application structure to AIA G702 format.
What net gauge do commercial facilities need? +
Use intensity drives it. #45 commercial twisted poly is the minimum for a training facility. Step up to #60 if JUGS-speed machine work is a daily routine, and #84 if college or pro hitters train in the cage. Partition nets are typically #36 or #42 on track-mounted carriers.
Do you serve facilities outside Fort Worth? +
Yes. We are Aledo-based and cover the full Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for facility work, and we travel further across Texas for larger field and facility builds. Tell us where the building or site is and we will confirm during the consult.
Planning a build?
Send us the building or the lot. We will scope the whole facility.
